Private guide in Prague

Royal Garden

Royal Garden was founded in 1534 by Ferdinand I. Habsburg. From the beginning, the garden was complemented by a number of buildings used for entertainment of the courtly society, including the ball room, royal summer palace, and lion court. The current version builds on the natural "English style" of the mid-19th century.
Ferdinand I. built the royal summer palace for his wife Anna Jagiellonian. She grew up to the north of the alps during the stylistic purest renesence strike. At this time, the wonderful roof design, which resembles a keel, was popular.

Ball Room

The ball room was built during the charming Renaissance strike in 1567. The northern façade is decorated with pilasty, and richly decorated with allegorical figures graffiti elements, virtue and liberal arts.
